The Product Builder suite provides a set of desktop based tools that allow pricing and insurance operations teams to develop, test and build all the insurance products for use by the CiS Policy module.
Key features of the suite are:
- Tools include all the functional steps necessary to set up a new, or amend an existing, live product, including:
- Definition of a cover structure
- Creation of dynamic quote and policy certificate document templates, including multi-quote and multi-policy summary documents
- Defining the questions & answers that are to appear on quotation screens
- Defining the sectioning, order and layout of web pages used in the quotation process.
- Defining price algorithm per cover, price tables,
- Setting price levels and price relativities,
- Defining automatic underwriting rules connected to each cover,
- Setting allowed combination of covers, product renewal rules and payment methods
- Setting availability of product to customers , channels or distribution partners
